Please take a few moments to take a closer look at the following ladybug costume which happens to be one of my favorites as well as being one of our best selling teen costumes:

Daisy Ladybug Teen Costume
(Available in teen sizes to fit small, medium and large girls).

Does the cuteness of a ladybug depend on the number of polka dots she carries?  Maybe!

This very cute Daisy Ladybug Teen Costume consists of a low waist mini dress that features a lacy black top with puffy short sleeves and a white and yellow daisy appliqué; a shimmering bright red mid section with black polka dots and vertical strips; a gathered full skirt in matching red fabric, black polka dots and a black lace hemline.

A pair of ladybug winds and a character antenna headband are also included with this sweet outfit.

Remember to add a daisy purse, a pair of black leggings and ladybug shoes and she’ll be ready to buzz around the neighborhood to dispense good luck to all.

Here are a few interesting facts about ladybugs:

  • Ladybugs are members of the beetle family and they are also known as lady bugs, lady beetles and ladybird beetles.
  • Multi-colored Asian lady bugs come from soybean fields as well as trees and gardens and they swarm in large numbers on the first days after a frost.
  • Lady bugs do bring on good luck because they eat aphids and other small harmful pests such as mites, fleas and their eggs.
  • There are 5,000 known species of ladybugs around the world and approximately 475 of them in North America.
